The grand closing ceremony and prize distribution of the four-day technical and creative event "Techno-Uday" took place on October 10, 2026, at Government Polytechnic College, Shajapur, under the "Sewa se Sankalp Abhiyan". The primary objective of the event was to promote technical skills, innovation, creativity, and practical knowledge among students. The ceremony was graced by chief guest Shri Umesh Tailor, MP representative and member of the public participation committee, alongside institution principal Vipul Parmarthi, who awarded the winning participants. Addressing the gathering, Shri Umesh Tailor motivated students to shape their futures and fearlessly overcome the artificial fear surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI), remarking that AI is like a fake paper tiger trying to scare real lions. He expressed concern that the pressure to score 99 percentiles is causing mental disorders among children and reminded them of India's rich heritage, emphasizing that artificial intelligence can never match original intelligence and that students are meant to create jobs rather than just seek them. Throughout the event, various competitions were held across days, including Idea Generation, Poster, Speech, and Article Writing on Day 1; the Model Prototype Expo on Day 2; and Trash to Tech, RC Boat Race, Mini Wind Turbine Making, and From Circuit to Solution on Day 3. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Principal Vipul Parmarthi, marking it as a significant initiative to foster innovation, self-confidence, and a scientific perspective among students.
